Association of Petroleum Geologists, India organised Field Expedition & Workshops in Jaisalmer, Rajasthan From 10th to 16th January 2010. 26 Geoscientists from different Oil Companies viz. Oil & Natural Gas Corporation Ltd, Gujarat State Petroleum Corporation Ltd,Essar Oil Ltd, Cairn Energy India Pvt Ltd, Bharat Petroleum Corporation Ltd. Participated in the workshop.

The workshop was conducted by experienced Faculty members Shri. H.Upadhyay, General Manager (Geology) ,ONGC and Bhawanisingh G. Desai, Assistant Professor, Institute of Petroleum Technology, Gandhinagar and coordinated by Dr. R.K.Saxena and Shri. Manish Shukla, Executive Members of APG.
