The present compilation is an overview of Indian Stratigraphy and related applied aspects with an overtone on Hydrocarbon Exploration and covers a wide spectrum of topics ranging spatially from the tectonically complex collision margin of Indian plates in the Himalayan region to the pericratonic basins and temporarily from Proterozoic to Recent.
